A South Florida native, Christopher R. Cruz graduated cum laude from the University of Florida, earning Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting. Upon graduating from UF, Mr. Cruz went on to attend law school at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. While attending law school, Mr. Cruz became a registered CPA in the State of Illinois.

At Emory University, Mr. Cruz focused his studies in the area of tax law, business law, and estate planning, earning the Dean's Award in three classes: Federal Income Tax: Partnerships, Wealth Transfer Tax, and Estate Planning. Furthermore, he was selected by deans and faculty to receive the CCH-Kleinrock Excellence in Taxation Award by Emory University.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Cruz returned home to South Florida to establish his practice focused on tax law, business law, and estate planning.

Mr. Cruz is admitted to the Florida Bar; a member of the American Bar Association; admitted to practice in United State District Court, Southern District of Florida and the United States Tax Court.

 

Mr. Cruz is married and resides in Parkland, FL.
